POS and POSM design for retail campaigns

POS and POSM design for product launches, retail campaigns and store environments. We develop the concept, adapt brand artwork across formats and prepare the agreed files for production.

The minimum budget for an individual assignment is RUB 20,000. A complete POSM project is quoted according to the number of formats, adaptations and technical deliverables. Manufacturing and installation are agreed separately.

What we can take on

Concept and format selection

We start with the product, campaign offer and shopping context. We define which information should be visible from the aisle and which belongs closer to the shelf. The proposed set of materials reflects store dimensions, placement rules and campaign duration, with a clear hierarchy for the brand, product, message and mandatory details.

Artwork adaptation and localisation

We adapt existing brand assets to new formats and Russian-language copy, adjusting composition, line breaks, type sizes and information blocks. Translation and local copywriting can be included in the agreed scope. Product claims, promotional terms and mandatory wording remain subject to client approval.

Structural development

For three-dimensional displays, the agreed scope can include dimensions, product arrangement, graphic surfaces and the assembly approach. We work with the proposed materials and manufacturer requirements. Engineering calculations, prototypes and load testing are identified as separate requirements before work begins.

Production artwork

We prepare approved designs to the selected printer or manufacturer’s specifications. This includes dielines, folds, bleed, safe areas and assembly zones where relevant. We check legibility and consistency across the set, with clearly labelled versions for different retail chains or campaigns.

How we work

01 · Define the brief

We review the brand guidelines, key visual, copy, product photography and intended locations. We clarify dimensions, deadlines, quantities and retailer requirements. Any missing technical specifications are listed for agreement with the manufacturer.

02 · Establish the concept

We present the design approach on the key formats and agree the composition, visual hierarchy, colours and amount of information. This allows the campaign message to be assessed across formats before the complete artwork set is developed.

03 · Develop the artwork set

We extend the approved concept across the selected materials, including language and size adaptations. We align artwork with the display structure and check consistency in logos, product names, promotional terms and mandatory elements.

04 · Prepare the handover

We check the artwork against the production specifications and deliver the approved file set. Equipment-specific adjustments, colour proofs, prototypes and production support can be included by separate agreement.

Questions before we start

What is included in a POSM design project?

The scope may include a concept, format selection, design, size and language adaptations, structural development and print preparation. Each deliverable is specified in the proposal. An initial list of materials and photographs of the intended retail space are enough to begin the discussion.

Can you adapt existing artwork without developing a new concept?

Yes. We can work with brand source files, adapt them to the required formats and create Russian-language versions. Before quoting, we check the availability of fonts and images, the quality of the supplied files and brand guideline restrictions. Any artwork reconstruction is included in the agreed scope.

How does POSM design differ from 3D visualisation?

This service develops artwork for specific retail formats and, where agreed, the technical materials needed to prepare them for production. A separate 3D visualisation service provides presentation images and helps assess appearance. A render alone does not replace dielines, drawings or print-ready artwork.

Does your design fee include manufacturing and installation?

Manufacturing and installation have separate scopes and budgets. This page describes the design service. If the project also requires production, we discuss quantities, materials, logistics, the manufacturer and the level of support. We can also prepare files for your existing production partner.

What determines the budget and delivery schedule?

The number of original formats and adaptations, the readiness of supplied assets, structural complexity and the approval process all affect the quote. The minimum budget for an individual assignment is RUB 20,000. The total project fee and schedule are confirmed after we review the brief.

Do you work with international clients and recurring campaigns?

Yes. We agree a remote workflow, artwork languages and local manufacturer requirements. For recurring launches, we can define a shared task list and a consistent handover process. Contract terms, payment arrangements and file exchange are agreed before the project starts.
